*Ensure garment is wrinkle free so patch can adhere properly.
> If using an iron, set the temperature according to the fabric in which you are applying the patch. Cotton and Polyester can handle a higher heat setting, while delicate fabrics require a lower heat setting.
> Ensure you apply firm pressure to help affix the patch to the fabric. If you use the counter or other area, besides an ironing board, ensure you protect the surface.
> Prep the area where the patch will be placed, by ironing over it. Place your patch on there, adhesive side down and place teflon sheet or parchment paper over patch to prevent scorching. You can also use a washcloth over the patch if teflon or parchment is unavailable.
> Apply firm pressure, while moving the iron in a circular motion, throughout the patch.
> Check if the patch is adhearing to the fabric by trying to lift part of the patch. If its not adhering, continue to iron over it in a circular motion, then turn your garment inside out and iron the patch in a circular motion.
**If using a commercial heat press set temp at 340 for 20 seconds and heavy pressure.
> Prior to placing the patch on the garment, press the area where the patch will be placed for about 5 seconds to remove any moisture.
> Position your patch on the fabric, adhesive side down, and place teflon sheet or parchment paper over patch to prevent scorching. Press the patch, then turn garment inside out and do a touch up press on the patch for about 5 seconds.
